Dear friends,
We are raising money to fund our second album. As an independent artist, self-funding an album is impossible for us, and after such a long break from the studios, we decided to seek the support from the community to bring this project to life.
Our first album was released in 2015 and received a Grammy nomination! We have plenty of material, so many new gorgeous arrangements, ready to be recorded. We are so excited about it but we can't do it without your support.
This is a chance for you to become an important part of the project, and be the first to receive a copy of this limited-edition CD. You can also choose different rewards and include a donation amount to help finish production of our new album.

Recording Updates
UPDATE # 1 - APRIL 7, 2023 - Sneak peek - Rehearsal!!!
Today we had the opportunity to introduce the new music that is going to be recorded to Larry and Edwin and make the necessary adjustments in the charts before getting in the studio. Jobim, Claudio Nucci, Delia Fisher were in the mix. It was also our first opportunity to hear the arrangements and the inner lines, to feel the grove and get more familiar with what is coming. So much joy this moment brought!
For me, Catina, although I was very familiar with big part of the repertoire, I was able to sing some of these songs for the first time in my life... It was the perfect opportunity to some different phrasings, explore options of rhythmic division, articulation of the words and start experimenting on how all those elements can bring the lyrics in its best, not only for me as interpreter but also for both Portuguese speaker and non speaker listeners. Still, lot's of homework to do! Lot's to explore, to practice, until all that can flow with the lyrics and its meaning and essence and with Otmaro's reinvented arrangement and its dynamics.
It was fun to sight read some of the soli and background lines, and see the first brush strokes of what will become a unique and gorgeous colorful painting.
We had capuccinos and Charlie (our rescue dog) enjoyed each note, as we hope you will too once this project is completed.

UPDATE # 2 - APRIL 10, 2023 - Dorival Caymmi getting a new arrangement!
Shaping the patterns for this very special track! I love this song and have been singing it for years now. Otmaro is getting in the groove of making this track very intimate, poetic, still keeping the simplicity and not overpowering the delicate sense of humor of the composer. And yes, I asked for that A7sus4, and Otmaro gave it to me!
We are loving every second of the creation of this album and we are incredibly grateful for your support!
